Thank you for ordering from The Cupcake! We value all of our customers and appreciate your business. Please read our terms and policies for The Cupcake!

REFUNDS:

50% NON-REFUNDABLE FEE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ORDERS -Deposit refunds will not be made for cancellations of any kind, but will be applied to your order as a credit in the event that a change of date occurs.

Please be on time to pick up your order. We understand that there are uncontrollable factors that may cause lateness, but you must notify us ahead of time if you will be late, or need to reschedule.

We reserve the right to charge a $10 late fee if you are 30 minutes past your pickup time (this applies if there was no notice in advance, or you notified us AFTER your pickup time. Please be respectful of our time.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide full refunds or exchanges of custom cakes, cupcakes.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your order, we will apply your deposit as store credit for a future to rescheduled order.

You must notify us at least 1 day in advance if you need to reschedule your order, or change the pickup date. Your balance is due before pickup if you are paying with Zelle/Paypal. We also accept cash during pick up.

Once a cake or cupcakes have been picked up by you or a designated party, it is considered “Accepted”. All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our shop.

ORDER CARE:

Please make sure to read the Care Card provided to you during pickup. It has instructions on how to properly store your cake/cupcakes, and to take weather into consideration for your order. All cupcakes/cakes must be kept out of direct sunlight or heat, as buttercream does melt.

If the weather is over 72 degree F, I recommend storing your cupcake order in the refrigerator. Cakes should always be stored in the refrigerator until the time of event.

Please understand we cannot control changes in texture or changes in color or shape due to weather conditions.

TRANSPORTING:

You are responsible for transporting your order home safely & we are not responsible once an order leaves our premises.  Cakes/cupcakes should never be placed on seats! Place them on the floor board of the vehicle so that they are level, and don’t stack cupcake boxes.
